First Aid Kit

We believe it is always a good idea to have a first aid kit at hand especially if you have a family.  You should have a well stocked first aid kit in your home, and you should consider if you need one in your car. When you are going on holidays a travel first aid kit can save you a lot of hassle of looking for a pharmacy in an area you may not be familiar with or in a language you may be very confident of speaking. You are always welcome to contact us for advice regarding first aid.

Almost everyone will use a first aid kit at home at some time.  Depending upon how far your are from professional medical attention should dictate how comprehensive your first aid kit needs to be.  We supply ready made first aid kits in-store. But you can make a simple and inexpensive first aid kit yourself.

We recommend that a home first aid kit should be able to treat the following minor traumas:

  • Cuts
  • Burns
  • Scrapes
  • Stings
  • Sprains
  • Strains
  • Splinters
  • Eye irritation
  • Pain Relief

When you are travelling you may need a more comprehensive first aid kit as a pharmacy may not be easily located.  You may consider adding to your travel first aid kit the ability to treat the following ailments:

  • Allergies
  • Sun burn and heat rash
  • Upset stomach
  • Dehydration
  • Sore throat
  • Cough
  • Nasal congestion
