Recommended for the treatment of fungal and associated bacterial infections of the skin. Skin infections include athlete's foot, jock itch (dhobie itch) and intertrigo. Daktarin® is also recommended for infected nappy rash. The active ingredient, miconazole, works to destroy the fungus responsible for the skin infection, along with some of the associated bacteria which are typically present in these infections. Additionally, Daktarin® Cream is designed to help moisturise and soothe dry, cracked and irritated skin. This product is suitable for use in adults and children of all ages.
Directions For Use
Wash the area to be treated and dry thoroughly.
Apply the cream to the affected area and the surrounding skin.
Wash hands after use.
Daktarin® Cream should be applied to the affected area twice daily.
You should continue to apply the cream until lesions have healed and for one week after all signs and symptoms of the infection have disappeared.

Product Specific Warnings
As many fungal skin infections are very contagious, you should keep a flannel or towel for your own personal use. Do not share this towel with anyone else.
Take care to wash your hands carefully after applying Daktarin cream to prevent the spread of infection.
Be sure to frequently change and wash any clothing that comes in contact with the infected area e.g. Socks.
