A sugar free liquid iron supplement that can be used to prevent and treat iron deficiency. This product should only be used for the treatment of iron deficiency anaemia that has been diagnosed by laboratory testing under the supervision of a doctor.
Directions For Use
Shake the bottle well before use.
Adults and children 12 years and older:
Two 5ml spoonfuls once or twice daily, before meals or on an empty stomach.
Pregnant women:
Not to be taken in the first 13 weeks of pregnancy.
Children and infants under the age of 12 years:
Dose to be determined by doctor.
Active Ingredients
Contains:
Ferrous Fumarate 140mg per 5ml of oral suspension
Warnings
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Please read accompanying instructions carefully before using this product.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
In the event of overdose seek medical advice immediately as overdose may be fatal.
Allergies
Do not use this product if you are allergic or have a hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Precautions For Special Groups
Do not take in the first 13 weeks of pregnancy, following that first consult your doctor for advice about taking this product during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
If you are on any other medication or have a medical condition please consult your pharmacist or doctor.
Storage
Store below 25°C.
Product Specific Warnings
Do not take if you have any problems with iron in the blood, if you have a stomach ulcer or bowel problem including inflammatory bowel disorder, if you have had a number of blood transfusions or are currently receiving iron injections.
If you have anaemia not related to low irons before this product may not be suitable for treatment.
If symptoms do not improve within 28 days consult your doctor.
