A GP Visit Card allows individuals and families in Ireland to visit their GP for free. It is advisable that if you are entitled to a GP Visit Card that you apply for a Drugs Payment Scheme Card as you will have to pay for prescribed drugs, medicines and other health services similar to other people who do not have a Medical Card.
