Imodium® Plus tablets provide fast and convenient relief from diarrhoea and additional symptoms such as cramps, wind and bloating. Used to treat sudden short-lived attacks of diarrhoea in adults and children over 12 years of age. These tablets help reduce diarrhoea by slowing down an overactive bowel to its normal rhythm, which helps the body to absorb water and salts from the bowel. Imodium® Plus tablets should be used in conjunction with oral rehydration therapy which replace fluids and salts lost during diarrhoea.
Directions For Use
Swallow the correct number of tablets whole with a drink of water.
Adults aged over 18 years:
Take 2 tablets initially, followed if required, by 1 tablet after each loose bowel movement.
Young adults aged 12 to 18 years:
Take 1 tablet initially, followed if required, by 1 tablet after each loose bowel movement.
Not more than 4 tablets should be taken per day, for a maximum of 2 days.
Active Ingredients
Each tablet contains:
Loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg
Simeticone equivalent to Dimeticone 125mg
