Directions For Use

Please read the enclosed leaflet before use.

For the treatment of scabies
Adults and adolscents over 12 years:
Apply 30g (1 tube) of the cream to the whole body paying particular attention to areas between fingers and toes wrists, arm-pits, external genitals and buttocks. Do not apply the cream to the face and head.
Children aged 6 to 12 years:
Apply 15g (half a tube) of cream as described above.
Children 2 months to 2 years:
Apply 7.5g (a quarter of the tube) of cream should be applied as above, but should also include the head, neck, scalp and ears. Do not apply the cream too close to the mouth or the eyes. Children in this age group should only be treated under medical supervision.
Elderly aged above 65 years of age:
The cream should be applied as directed for adults and children over 2 years but should also include the head, neck, scalp and ears. Do not apply the cream too close to the eyes. Patients over 70 years should be treated under medical supervision.
The cream should be applied to clean, dry and cool skin and then washed off 8 to12 hours after treatment. If bathing before treatment, allow the skin to cool before applying the cream.
If you wash your hands with soap and water within the 8 hour treatment time, you must reapply this medicine immediately.
Approximately 90% of individuals are cured with a single application of cream. If necessary, a second application may be given, not less than 7 days after the first application, if there are no signs of the original lesions healing or if new lesions have appeared.
Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve with treatment, or if your condition worsens.

For the treatment of crab lice
Adults and children over 2 months, and the elderly:
Individuals should wait at least 8 hours but not more than 24 hours after cream is applied to wash off.
Sufficient cream should be applied to cover the pubic region, peri-anal area, inner thighs down to the knees and any hair on the trunk, which extends to the pubic area.
It is recommended that up to a third of a 30g tube should be sufficient to treat this area. No more than 2/3 of a tube should be used. For children and hair-free individuals proportionately less cream will be required.
Any facial hair, except the eyelashes and eyebrows should also be treated if found to be infested with lice or their eggs.
It is recommended that any lice or eggs found in the eyelashes should be removed with a pair of tweezers, since the cream may cause marked eye irritation.
It is uncommon for crab lice to infest the eyebrows. Lice or eggs found in this area are more likely to be head lice and therefore care should be exercised when making a diagnosis.
A second application may be required if live lice are found on the previously treated area 7 days after treatment.
