We have chosen to specialise in cardio because of the deaths of approximately 10,000 people each year in Ireland from heart disease. As part of our commitment to you we offer a diabetes screening and blood pressure measurement clinic. These services are free. Screening helps to catch the early warning signs of heart disease.
The team at Lucan Village Pharmacy is highly trained in all aspects of community pharmacy. We take pride in being able to offer free advice and answer any queries from you ranging from minor ailments to babycare to skincare. Of course we can also explain to you the roles of the various drugs and medicines in your prescription and how to take them to maximise their effectiveness for you.
We believe that in providing healthcare to the people of Lucan, Lexilip, Celbridge, Clondalkin, Palmerstown, Strawberry Beds, Adamstown, Hartsown, Carpenterstown, Ongar and the surrounding areas it is important for us to be available to serve your needs seven days a week.
Nessa Busteed developed her strong belief in pharmacy being the communities first stop for healthcare throughout her career. Nessa opened Lucan Village Pharmacy in November 2002. Nessa has spent her working life in community pharmacy. Nessa qualified in Ireland as a Pharmacist in 1994. After she qualified she worked as a Dispensary Pharmacist in Kimmage. Nessa then moved to Raheny where she was a Supervising Pharmacist. Later she became a Managing Pharmacist in Mount Merrion. Nessa uses her experience and knowledge of community pharmacy to help and serve the pharmacy needs of the people of Lucan and its surrounding areas.
